Trade Testing Facility has been set up in order to assess individuals’ knowledge, skills and competence in a particular occupation. These tests are designed to test both qualified individuals as well as those who do not possess a formal qualification. Through Trade Testing a person can be assessed in a particular area by sitting for the following types of assessment:
Candidates who successfully pass the Trade Testing are awarded a “Certificate of Competence” in that particular field.
The following grading system will be followed.
| FIT FOR YOUR PURPOSE | 80% and above |
| FIT FOR THE JOB | 76% to 80% |
| UN FIT | 70% to 75% |
| FAIL | Below 70% |
In general, we follow International Standard Classification of Occupation (ISCO) and/or employer job description provided at the time of trade testing request.
